VIO
The "VIO" name means True Zero Tail Swing.
In 1993, YANMAR launched the world's first ZERO TAIL Swing excavator and is currently marketing the 4th generation model. The "VIO" development objective of turning within the machine width has been successfully achieved, while still maintaining the stability and work performance of a conventional style unit.
We have 7 models in the "VIO" ranging from 3704 lbs through 17,530 lbs.
High-Strength Universal Boom -
The shape of the universal boom is so regular that it has no fragile points. The side plate is about 1.5 times thicker than that of a conventional model. The result is the strength for safe use with many different attachments.
Cylinder Guard -
The cylinder rods on the VIO series boom, arm and bucket are protected by spring steel guards. The guards help prevent inadvertent damage to cylinders.
Integrated Boom Light -
Integrated boom light is protected from damage.
Hydraulic Quick Coupler -
The standard equipment hydraulic coupler expands the versatility of the VIO series by allowing a variety of bucket sizes or attachments to be used, saving the contractor the expense of bringing other machines to the job site. The YANMAR hydraulic quick coupler adapts to most bucket pin sizes and spreads, allowing the VIO to adapt to other manufacturers products.
Air Conditioning -
Air conditioning for a cool comfortable workplace.
True Zero Tail Swing -
No part of the housing extends beyond the tracks. Allows efficient operation in tight spaces. Access to more jobs. Less damage to the machine. Less damage to the site. Better visibility - Increased Safety.
Under Side Protector -
The frame corners are reinforced with ultra-high strength steel. The side cover has a thicker plate for higher resilience.
