Over the last few years, Yanmar Marine Business Unit and its headquarters, Yanmar Marine International B.V. in Almere, the Netherlands, have grown remarkably through global business expansion and successful acquisitions.

As a Senior FP&A Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in planning, guiding, and realising continued global growth from a financial perspective. You will be part of the financial operations of the 15 global business entities in the Yanmar Marine Business Unit. We are seeking a dynamic individual to shape the future of our business through financial leadership, together with us.

What are you going to do?

In this role, you will take ownership of Yanmar Marine International B.V.’s financial control and support strategic finance across our global marine business.

You will deliver planning, analysis, and reporting at entity and group levels while supporting M&A, investment, and improvement initiatives. Your work will directly support key business decisions and future growth.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Manage planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for Yanmar Marine International B.V.;
• Analyse M&A opportunities, including financial due diligence and market potential;
• Identify and execute business and process improvements based on financial insights;
• Lead consolidated financial management for the Marine Business Unit, covering 16 global entities;
• Support planning, budgeting, and reporting for capital investments;
• Drive special projects related to financial analysis, investment, and business structure.

The Senior FP&A Specialist is a professional with a deep understanding of business financial dynamics, demonstrating a positive mindset and a self-initiating attitude.

With essential experience in finance control, your skills include problem-solving, a business consultancy mindset, and effective cross-departmental collaboration. The ideal candidate:

• Minimum Bachelor’s (HBO / WO) degree in Finance. A master’s degree or an MBA is a plus;
• Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience (e.g., Financial Control, Financial Advisor);
• Significant FP&A experience in an international setting, including budgeting, result analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
• Knowledge of Merger and Acquisition is a huge plus;
• Knowledge of SAP and/or Power BI is a plus;
• The following mindset qualities apply to you: positive mindset, self-initiative attitude, bright and honest;
• Strong language skills, fluent in both spoken and written English;
• Applicants must currently reside in the Netherlands and possess eligibility to work in the country, including having a valid work permit or passport.

Your regular workplace is Almere, the Netherlands. Willingness to travel to customer sites throughout Europe when necessary is expected.
