Over the past months, Yanmar was present at two key trade shows in the maritime sector: Donsö Shipping Meeting Sweden and Aqua Nor in Norway. Both events focus on marine innovation, but each offered a distinct atmosphere and opportunities for engagement.

Donsö: Focused Networking in a Calm Setting

Donsö provides an intimate, focused platform to connect with maritime stakeholders. The event took place on 1-3 september and attracted around 5,000 visitors, a highly targeted audience of professionals keenly interested in clean energy solutions. This setting allowed us to highlight Yanmar’s vision for sustainable propulsion and strengthen relationships with regional ship owners and industry partners. In 20-minute speed meetings we shared our latest developments with them a.o. on methanol and other alternative fuel technologies.

Aqua Nor: Global Hub for Aquaculture Technology

Since 1979, Aqua Nor has grown into the world’s most significant stage for aquaculture technology. This year’s edition in Trondheim brought together 25,000 visitors from across the globe and Yanmar was right at the heart of the action.

Our stand attracted a steady flow of guests, reflecting the strong interest in Yanmar’s marine power systems. Conversations ranged from hands-on feedback from vessel operators to forward-looking discussions on new builds and future market demand. Delivery schedules were a hot topic, with many partners planning to secure engines in time for upcoming projects.
