TAUMAT S.r.l. wins Supplier of the Year 2025

In the annual review by Yanmar Europe of supplier performance, TAUMAT S.r.l. has been awarded “Supplier of the Year 2025”. TAUMAT is a leading supplier of high-precision machined parts, supporting Yanmar Europe with customised components for marine engine applications produced by turning, milling and grinding.

Outstanding Performance

Annual Supplier Evaluation and Award

Annual supplier evaluation and feedback is an essential part of maintaining and improving Yanmar’s high standards. Yanmar Europe works with more than 200 external vendors of parts and components. Each spring Yanmar evaluates the Top 25 suppliers by order value for the previous calendar year. The final score is based on criteria for quality, cost, delivery, technical expertise and general management topics. The vendor with the highest score is awarded “Supplier of the Year” and invited to receive their trophy during a short ceremony at Yanmar Europe headquarters in Almere, Netherlands.

TAUMAT S.r.l. is a family-owned company based in Atessa, Chieti province, in the centre of Italy. In the mechanics sector, not only is TAUMAT specialized in high precision metal machining by chip removal but also in the assembling of more complex parts leading their complete supply chain.

The company was founded in 1987. Turning, milling, drilling and grinding are part of our daily work. A constant analysis in real time about the state of productivity is implemented through a centralized system for continuous monitoring of running production, which guarantees to combat and solve any machine malfunction in the shortest time possible. The company is certified according to UNI ISO 9001:2015, UNI ISO 14001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016.

To pursue an old entrepreneurial passion for electric mobility, since 2017 approximately 500m² of the factory have been dedicated to research and development activities, including the development of electric vehicles for urban and agricultural mobility for which a patent has been filed.
