A strong presence for Yanmar at Europort 2025

Europort at Rotterdam Ahoy takes place every two years and is an important event for Yanmar. The 2025 edition, held from 2 till 5 November, was no different. As one of the largest maritime exhibitions, Europort brought together thousands of professionals from around the world to discuss key topics such as the energy transition, digitalisation, economic challenges, and attracting new talent. A great opportunity for Yanmar to show its focus on innovation and strong cooperation with partners.

High engagement at the Yanmar booth

Our Commercial Team attended the Europort event together with a representative from the Japanese overseas sales team and our agent Nicoverken. This created a strong international presence and offered visitors the opportunity to engage directly with both the European and Japanese representatives.

The Yanmar booth received steady attention throughout the event, especially from existing customers, distributors, and dealers from Europe and Africa. Their strong interest showed clear confidence in Yanmar’s solutions. Many visitors shared new project ideas and follow-up plans, giving us a solid basis to continue and expand current partnerships.

All eyes on sustainable solutions

A major area of interest was our progress in methanol and alternative-fuel technologies. The market’s focus on sustainable propulsion is unmistakably growing, and visitors were eager to learn more about the possibilities and the advancements Yanmar is making in this field.

New power products impress at Europort

Our product highlights also drew significant attention. Visitors showed strong interest in the new 12AYL generator set, delivering up to 1000 kWe / 1250 kVa. Likewise, the new 12AYEM common-rail engines, offering up to 1822 HP, received highly positive feedback from both technical and commercial visitors.

Highly rewarding exhibition

For our Commercial Marine Team, the Europort exhibition was intense but exceptionally valued. As a central meeting point for the commercial maritime sector, the event brought us together with partners, experts, and innovators. It offered an excellent platform to present Yanmar’s latest developments. We now look forward to building on the momentum created during these four successful days.
