Yanmar had a strong presence at the Nor-Fishing exhibition 2026. With around 20,000 visitors from 60 countries, Nor-Fishing is one of the largest exhibitions for fisheries technology worldwide. This made Nor-Fishing 2026 the ideal platform for Yanmar to connect with fishery shipowners from all over the world and showcase its multi-fuel approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nor-Fishing 2026<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At Nor-Fishing 2026, around 500 leading international fisheries technology suppliers showcased their latest developments and technological innovations. The three-day exhibition traditionally takes place in Trondheim, Norway. Once again fishermen and fleet owners from all over the world travelled to Nor-Fishing. They visited the exhibition not only to keep up to date with the latest technical developments in the fishing industry, but also to meet colleagues and industry professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Listening carefully<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For Yanmar, exhibitions such as Nor Fishing 2026 are not just about presenting solutions. They are also an opportunity to listen to the people who operate marine vessels every day, understand their challenges and discuss what they need next Nor Fishing 2026 provided valuable opportunities for Yanmar to make new contacts and discuss the technologies shaping the future of vessel operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Multi-fuel approach<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At their joint stand Yanmar Europe, Yanmar Norway and Maritim Motor AS presented their multi-fuel approach, including hydrogen, methanol and LNG-powered marine engines. In doing so, Yanmar is responding to the need for flexibility among fleet owners: after all, it is unlikely that there is a one-size-fits-all solution for every fishing fleet. The right pathway will depend on vessel operation, region and available infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vessel control system<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In line with the multi-fuel approach, Yanmar also showcased the VC30 at its stand. This third-generation vessel control system enables skippers to control the entire powertrain via a single interface, regardless of how many engines are powering their vessel or what fuel they are running on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
