Yanmar Global Service Awards 2025
On 6 March, Yanmar Global CS (YGCS) hosted the annual “Service Awards 2025” in Osaka, celebrating the commitment and achievements of exceptional service professionals from around the world. The ceremony welcomed around 200 participants, including Yanmar Holdings board members, company presidents, and customer service leaders from both domestic and international markets.

Honouring excellent service performance
First introduced in 2019, the Service Awards have become a key annual moment to recognise individuals and teams who embody Yanmar’s values and contribute to its reputation for outstanding service. The awards not only recognise technical skills and dedication but also emphasise the importance of a customer-first mindset across the global Yanmar network.
This year’s ceremony opened with an inspiring video reflecting the Hanasaka philosophy: believing in people’s potential and encouraging them to meet every challenge.
Three European winners
Among the 66 winners worldwide, three European professionals were honoured for their outstanding contributions.
Yanmar Europe, Ayhan Aygün – Warehouse Assistant Spare Parts
Recognised for his outstanding performance and continuous engagement in spontaneous challenges on the work floor, boosting performance and supporting key goals.
Nippon Diesel Service, Thomas Hartwig – Technical Supervisor
Celebrated for his strong knowledge of diesel engines and spare parts, helping to drive Yanmar’s sales. He offers hands-on repair advice and often visits vessels to support fixes and build trust.
Yanmar Vineyard Solutions in France, Gaëtan Foret – Technical Inspector
Acknowledged for developing comprehensive training materials, leading sessions and contributing to the development and support of Yanmar’s fully autonomous agricultural robot.
