October 2024, some at northern of Thailand have been hit by two waves of flooding in the past several weeks, with locals describing these as the worst floods in decades. This flooding affected both residential and agricultural areas.

YANMAR CAPITAL (THAILAND) CO.,LTD. (YCT) organized activities in cooperation among YCT Hanasaka Ambassadors, Welfare Committee, HR&GA Department and employees, who are part of our community to support the effected people in flood areas. The employee involved and engaged for donation voluntary in cash or donated cleaning equipment or electronic goods for living. The company announced these activities on the company announcement board, E-mail and office Morning Meeting with all employees attending.

The following are the Cash donation, Transfers or Supply the Cleaning and Equipment that YCT employees donated by their personal funds.

⬩1st Round on October 7th,2024 donated with Thai RED CROSS Organization totally 10,000 THB (~46,000 Yen)

⬩2nd Round on November 11th,2024 donated 15,000 baht (~67,000 Yen) to Ban Muang Kud Primary School suburb in Chaing Mai along with office supplies and cleaning equipment, to renovate and repair the school and purchase teaching and learning equipment so that the school can resume teaching as soon as possible.

This assistance reflects the company’s commitment to stand by farmers and communities affected by disasters, as well as support the rehabilitation and strengthening of communities so that these communities can return to normal life.
