    What are you going to do?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    As our next Global Service Engineer, you will be the primary point of contact for all our clients, including distributors, dealers, and shipbuilders. You will engage with them through various channels such as telephone, CRM, and in-person visits to provide timely support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Your responsibilities will include addressing technical inquiries, resolving warranty issues, and ensuring client satisfaction. As our business expands, we aim to strengthen our after-sales team to meet our clients\u2019 evolving needs effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Your main tasks and responsibilities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Provide technical support to customers under departmental guidelines;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Offer remote technical support via telephone and CRM, and on-site support when needed;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Judging warranty claims based on a precise root cause analysis;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Maintain contact with global Yanmar colleagues to address customer concerns, technical support and warranty-related issues;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Troubleshoot and repair technical concerns in the field;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Coordinate product service and warranty activities with sales engineers, application engineers and other members of the Customer Support Department;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Manage networking relationships to foster strong customer connections.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Who are we looking for?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      The ideal Global Service Engineer possesses extensive experience in service engineering, particularly in B2B environments. You have a proven track record of effectively managing customer technical inquiries and providing solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Your expertise extends to motors and engines, and you have a deep understanding of their intricacies. Additionally, you are proficient in electronic diagnostics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The ideal candidate:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        \n
      • Minimum MBO 4, or equivalent, in technical studies (Mechanical, Automotive);<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • At least 3 years of experience in similar technical B2B roles;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Strong understanding of engines;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Solid knowledge of electronic diagnostics;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Dynamics);<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • The following mindset applies to you: self-starting, solution-driven, and decisive;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • You have strong communication skills and you\u2019re empathic;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Strong language skills, fluent in both spoken and written English. Dutch is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Applicants must currently reside in the Netherlands and possess eligibility to work in the country, including having a valid work permit or passport.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Work location:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Your regular workplace is Almere, the Netherlands. Willingness to travel to customer sites throughout Europe when necessary is expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
