He will share management responsibilities with current President Geert Jan Mantel. This appointment will help Yanmar to develop business opportunities in more countries and new market sectors. Next to his new role, Peter Aarsen will also retain his position as President of Yanmar Marine International.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Peter Aarsen: \u201cYanmar is a strong company that is dedicated to growth, even in these tough economic times. I am looking forward to this new challenge in my career and helping the organization move forward to achieve these goals.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe welcome Peter\u2019s wide experience in international industrial environments to our management team,\u201d says Yanmar\u2019s President Geert Jan Mantel. \u201cCombined with his knowledge and skills, this will help him become successful in his role as Vice President of our multicultural company. Peter and I will share management responsibilities, which will give Yanmar greater leeway to strengthen its position in the European and African markets and expand into new business sectors,\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With his engineering background and experience in the automotive industry, Peter Aarsen perfectly fits the DNA of Yanmar, a highly technical company striving for high-quality products and services. He joined Yanmar in the Engineering department in 2007 and held several jobs until he became President of Yanmar Marine International.
