YADIN Launches Official Social Media Account in 3 Platforms

Jakarta, 1 February 2021 – On 28 January 2021, PT. Yanmar Diesel Indonesia (Head Office: Depok, Indonesia, President Director: Kai Yasuda), a subsidiary of Yanmar Holdings Co., Ltd. launched its official social media account in 3 different platforms namely Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. With the rapid pace of digitalization and the change in lifestyle from the COVID-19 pandemic where technology became more prominent to make up the loss of mobility and offline interaction, YADIN decided to engage in digital communication to bridge the communication with customers all over Indonesia especially in rural areas.

The launch of the official social media accounts is part of YADIN’s digital strategy in addition to the online training that has been conducted since June 2020 to continue to develop the skills of YADIN’s personnel in accordance with health protocols. 2 weeks after the launch, the social media platforms have received positive reactions by customers and dealers alike. Aside from product information, YADIN will also provide information regarding promotions and offline events, as well as engaging activities for consumers with prizes in the future.

With the presence of the social media platforms, YADIN aims to be closer to its customers and hopes customers will find it easier to obtain updated and reliable information from YADIN. Since there is a possibility of misinformation from outside of the official account, YADIN would like customers to be more aware and rely on YADIN’s official social media for trusted information. In the future, YADIN will continue to oversee the changes in the current digitalized era to keep up and develop the next digital strategy.
