Football Clinic Scholarship for children in rural Thailand

Yanmar S.P., with the cooperation from Cerezo Osaka Co., Ltd., held a football training camp called “Football Clinic” from November 30, 2019 to February 29, 2020. The training camp gave children in the rural farming village of Northern and Northeastern Thailand, an opportunity to train with coaches from professional teams. 20 sixth grade students from 4 provinces - Nan, Yasothorn, Udonthani, and Chaiyaphum - will attend the tryout to be selected to participate in the final training camp in Bangkok. 15 students will be given a 3 year scholarship to study in Bangkok and train at Yamaoka Hanasaka Academy.
This activity has been continued for 8 years with close collaboration with BAAC, dealers, and YSP. Some players proceeded to play in the professional teams after participating in this program

Gift donation for children’s day event to 10 organizations

Yanmar S.P. donated gifts and souvenirs such as notebooks, pens, and keychains to local schools, community and police station nearby on January 11, 2020. The total donation amount of 28,500 THB was used for a Children’s Day event, held on the second Saturday of January every year.

Yanmar S.P. volunteers to paint the school building and playground

School buildings of Wat Pak Nam Primary School in Prachinburi province are getting old, after years of use and damage from flooding. On January 11, 2020, the labor union of Yanmar S.P. called for volunteers to paint the wall of school buildings and playground anew and 120 volunteers from Yanmar S.P. participated. In addition, we gave to the children 300 notebooks and pens, 100 Yanmar caps, polo shirts, and key chains. A 5,000 Thai Baht scholarship and a second-hand diesel engine to use with water pump in the school were also donated.

Yanmar S.P. donated used mobile phones which YSP employees used for work, to two non-profit organizations and one university.

On November 7, 2019, Yanmar S.P. donated 76 used mobile phones which YSP employees used for work, to two non-profit organizations and one university. (Total of 228 phones). Donated phones will be used as educational materials in practical training for students who are studying electric engineer or mobile application development
