Yanmar colleagues take on the TCS Amsterdam Marathon
On 17 and 18 October, Yanmar colleagues took part in the TCS Amsterdam Marathon weekend, joining runners from around the world for a sporting challenge in the Dutch capital. Wearing their recognisable red-and-white Yanmar shirts, colleagues represented Yanmar across three distances.
Two business teams took on the 7.5 km run. Another team of 10 colleagues completed the half marathon, while one colleague even went a step further and ran the full marathon.
The feedback from colleagues was largely positive. They enjoyed the good atmosphere and the opportunity to challenge themselves physically. Taking part together also offered a chance to connect with colleagues outside the workplace and share a common goal.

Events like the TCS Amsterdam Marathon reflect Yanmar’s Hanasaka philosophy, which focuses on helping people and communities thrive. By encouraging physical activity, teamwork and personal challenges, Yanmar supports the well-being of its people and contributes to a healthier and more connected society. It was great to see so many colleagues taking part and representing Yanmar together.
