Less soil compaction
Soil compaction can be a major challenge for winegrowers using vineyard machinery.
Not anymore. By applying Yanmar’s advanced technology, YV01 offers extreme lightness compared to other agricultural robots. Compaction is reduced to an absolute minimum.
Can withstand slopes up to 45
Versatility is in the YV01’s DNA. Thanks to its design and reliable components, the robot can climb and descend 45% slopes, a major advantage for winegrowers with difficult-to-manage plots. Perfect for narrow vineyards.
Total autonomy thanks to GPS
Incorporating the latest centimeter GPS-RTK navigation technology, the robot operates autonomously. What’s more, it’s powered by a fuel-efficient petrol engine that can last for several hours without interruption. All you need is a supervisor to observe operations in progress.
Electrostatic spraying
At the heart of the YV01 is electrostatic spray technology, which ensures that all vine surfaces, whether exposed or hidden, are treated efficiently and economically. The result? The amount of water or chemicals used is optimized and there is less waste. An advantage for improving vineyard treatment results.
Japanese manufacturing offers the best quality
Yanmar’s YV01 robot was designed at the Maibara R&D center in Japan, and all components are sourced from local suppliers via a reliable supply chain. Final production is handled in-house.
Rigorous quality control ensures that users can buy with confidence. This promise is underpinned by the extensive geographical coverage of the European parts distribution center in the Netherlands, which ensures that delivery times are kept to a minimum.
