Yanmar Co., Ltd.
Yanmar is participating in the 44th Tokyo Motor Show 2015 (open to the general public: October 30 to November 8, venue: Tokyo Big Sight) at the booth of KEN OKUYAMA DESIGN. This year we are exhibiting a tractor and a mini tiller that incorporate a cutting-edge design oriented to the future of farming.
Global Models Available in Europe and North America from 2016
Yanmar is taking a bold step into North America and Europe with its latest agricultural machinery. The YT series of large-sized tractors displayed at this year’s Tokyo Motor Show incorporate universal design* elements, and variants with different displacements are being developed with an eye toward global markets. Brand new small and mid-sized models will be available through our local subsidiaries in North America and Europe as early as the spring of 2016.
While North America is known for large-scale farming, recent years have seen an increasing demand for tractors among lifestyle farmers, and Yanmar is ready to respond to these needs with products of superior quality, innovative design and high operational performance.
- *Yanmar is accelerating global market development for agricultural machinery that incorporates a universal design concept. This has been adopted as one of Yanmar's fundamental strategies and is called the GMS (Global Module Strategy).
