Within Yanmar’s Europe, the Quality team plays a key role in ensuring that all products meet defined standards before reaching the customer. The Quality Control Inspector contributes directly to product reliability by performing detailed inspections, supporting corrective actions, and maintaining high quality standards throughout the production process.

What are you going to do?

As our Quality Control Inspector you are responsible for performing inline and final inspections of assembled products, as well as quality checks on incoming goods. You ensure that all inspections are executed according to standardized procedures and that deviations are identified, reported, and resolved to maintain consistent product quality.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Perform inline and final inspections of assembled and outgoing products
• Conduct visual, technical, and quantity inspections of incoming goods and register results
• Identify, report, and follow up on non-conformities and quality deviations
• Prepare quality inspection reports and support corrective actions when needed
• Perform rework and repair activities and register completed work
• Inspect prototype and first-run parts based on approved drawings and document results
• Monitor adherence to production procedures and quality standards
• Perform random checks on parts and assemblies and register inspection outcomes
• Maintain and update quality documentation, drawings, and working instructions
• Propose improvements to procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage and maintain inspection tools and ensure proper calibration and registration
• Follow safety, environmental, and operational guidelines at all times
• Support additional operational activities within the Production department when required

Who are we looking for?

The ideal Quality Control Inspector is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and committed to maintaining high quality standards. You work accurately, follow procedures consistently, and collaborate effectively with colleagues in production and quality to ensure reliable outcomes.

You bring:

• Secondary vocational education in mechanical engineering or similar technical field
• Experience in quality control, production, or a related technical environment
• Good understanding of quality control processes, inspection methods, and standards
• Familiarity with technical drawings and documentation
• Experience with inspection tools and measurement equipment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to identify issues and support corrective actions
• Team oriented with a proactive and responsible mindset
