Yanmar International Europe BV is the regional financial headquarters for the EMEA region and plays a central role in strengthening Yanmar’s financial stability and long-term growth.

Our treasury team supports all Yanmar entities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa with reliable liquidity management, strong banking relationships and forecasting activities that help guide strategic decisions.

What are you going to do?

As our Treasury Specialist, you will oversee key treasury operations across the EMEA region. You will work with subsidiaries to ensure sound cash flow planning and prepare consolidated forecasts that support decision-making. You will manage operational elements of group financing and monitor liquidity to safeguard a stable financial position.

You will act as the primary contact for financial institutions, maintain existing partnerships and support the development of new banking relationships. You will evaluate funding proposals and loan conditions to secure optimal financing structures for the region.

You will also support planning activities including budgeting for Yanmar International Europe B V and preparing business performance forecasts. You will help align reinvestment policies with the group’s Midterm plan and prepare materials for discussions with financial institutions.

Governance and compliance are a key part of the role. You will collaborate with colleagues at Yanmar Holdings and Yanmar Europe to ensure adherence to policies, audit readiness and the preparation of required financial documentation.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Review cash flow status of EMEA subsidiaries and prepare consolidated forecasts;
• Support operational aspects of group financing;
• Act as primary contact for banks and financial institutions;
• Develop and maintain banking relationships across the EMEA region;
• Assess funding proposals and loan conditions;
• Lead budgeting and forecasting activities for Yanmar International Europe BV;
• Support reinvestment policies in line with the Midterm plan;
• Prepare business performance forecasts and presentation materials;
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure full compliance;
• Support the preparation of materials for internal and external audits.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal Treasury Specialist brings strong finance expertise and thrives in an international environment. You have experience in corporate treasury or in a financial institution and feel confident managing cash flow, financial instruments and banking relations. You work accurately, communicate clearly and enjoy being a trusted partner to both internal teams and external financial institutions.

The ideal candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or accounting;
• Certification, such as CFA or CPA is a plus;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in treasury operations or within a financial institution;
• Strong understanding of treasury management, financial instruments and banking relationships;
• Practical experience with cash flow management and foreign exchange-related matters;
• Strong financial modelling capabilities;
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Fluent in English, other European languages or Japanese is a plus.

Applicants must currently reside in the Netherlands and be eligible to work in the country, including having a valid work permit or a valid passport.
