As we continue to expand, we are looking for an Account Manager who is ready to make a real commercial impact and help strengthen our relationships with key OEM customers.

In the Account Manager role, you are responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of OEM customer accounts that are important to our business. You are not just maintaining relationships; you are identifying opportunities, supporting growth, and helping drive long-term success for both the customer and Yanmar. You operate at the intersection of customer needs and business objectives, working closely with teams across the organisation to translate customer requirements into practical and sustainable solutions. The Account Manager is a role for someone who enjoys ownership, values collaboration, and wants to make a visible contribution in an international environment.

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of OEM customer accounts;
  • Build long-term partnerships based on trust, expertise, and reliability;
  • Lead commercial discussions and support contract negotiations;
  • Identify and unlock new business opportunities within existing and new customer accounts;
  • Support account strategies that align customer needs with business goals;
  • Act as a key customer representative towards Product Development and Marketing;
  • Contribute customer insights to support future product and business development initiatives;
  • Monitor market developments and translate them into commercial opportunities;
  • Collaborate across teams, including Operations, Engineering, After Sales, and Finance;
  • Represent Yanmar at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events;
  • Ensure accurate CRM management, reporting, forecasting, and follow-up of customer activities.

You are a commercially driven professional with a strong customer focus and the ability to build lasting relationships. You enjoy working in a technical environment and are motivated by delivering value through expertise, attention to detail, and consistent execution. You are analytical, proactive, and comfortable working with data, reporting, and structured processes. You understand the importance of collaboration and know how to navigate relationships with customers and internal stakeholders effectively

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical and/or commercial field;
  • 3-5+ years of experience in OEM and/or B2B sales or account management;
  • Experience working with strategic customers and understanding OEM business processes;
  • Strong commercial, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills;
  • Strong technical understanding, preferably supported by an engineering background;
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with CRM systems, reporting, and data;
  • Good project management and cross-functional coordination skills;
  • Professional, objective, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset;
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Applicants must currently reside in the Netherlands and be eligible to work in the country, including having a valid work permit or a valid passport.

ou’re based in the Netherlands or willing to relocate, with Almere as your primary work location. International travel is part of the role through customer interactions, meetings, and industry events.
