Join Yanmar Marine International in Almere as a Product Manager focused on electrification, playing a key role in driving the development of next-generation electric and hybrid marine products and solutions for a more sustainable future.

What are you going to do?

As our next Product Manager, you will be responsible for the business planning of all E-related product lines. You will identify new opportunities, define future product concepts, and translate market and technical insights into actionable development plans.

Collaborating closely with colleagues across departments and global teams, you will ensure that Yanmar continues to deliver top-quality, sustainable, and customer-focused products for the recreational and commercial marine markets.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Develop and execute business cases based on customer insights, market research, regulations, and competitive analysis;
• Translate market and customer needs into clear product and service requirements aligned with Yanmar’s strategic direction, with a strong focus on electrification;
• Build and manage business cases and development roadmaps in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders;
• Lead product and solution development projects from concept to market launch, ensuring alignment across functions;
• Collaborate with R&D, Sales, Marketing, Service, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth commercialisation and successful product launches;
• Monitor and manage the full product lifecycle, continuously improving product performance, profitability, and efficiency;
• Provide regular business insights and reports to management to support strategic decision-making.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal Product Manager combines strong analytical and project management skills with a passion for marine technology and electrification. You understand both the technical and commercial sides of product development and thrive in an environment that values innovation, collaboration, and sustainability.

The ideal candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field;
• At least 5 years of experience in Product Management, Project Management, or Strategic Consulting;
• Experience in electrification and a strong interest in electrifying the marine world;
• Experience in the recreational marine industry is a strong plus;
• Strong project management and communication skills with the ability to align multiple stakeholders;
• Proactive, solution-driven, and capable of working independently;
• Passionate about marine products, electrification, innovation, and sustainability;
• Fluent in English; other European languages are an advantage.

Applicants must currently reside in the Netherlands and be eligible to work in the country, including having a valid work permit or a valid passport.

Your primary workplace is Almere, the Netherlands.
