We are therefore looking to expand our Quality Team to a Quality Control Inspector. Join our team and help us stay in the lead!
What are you going to do?
In this position, you are a member of the Quality Assurance team of 3 people. You are responsible for checking the quality of all incoming and outgoing materials and products. You do this by conducting inspections, assessing measurement data and reporting quality registrations or deviations.
The goal is to ensure that our products are made of flawless materials with well-functioning equipment that meet Yanmar quality standards and our customer’s high expectations.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping based on check sheets, drawings and products specifications by using the measurement tools;
- Investigate the route case of non-conformities, check the internal quality of goods in stock and complete products by the drawing and product technical documents and configurations, and make the report;
- Taking initiatives necessary for the responsibilities as a Quality assurance team member. For example, when the quality issue is investigated, take the initiative to instruct and ask the cooperation with related departments for items check and route cause investigation;
- Working together with multiple internal stakeholders to achieve the best result together.

Who are we looking for?
The person we seek has a hands-on mentality and knows what it takes to get results. The QC Inspector is a good listener and is respectful, but on the other hand, is also able and dares to ask critical questions. Not only recognizes problems but also knows how to translate them into improvement proposals. Likes to work according to structured processes and together with other people.
The ideal candidate:
- Mbo level of education;
- Knowledge of measurement tools and ability to work from drawings and specifications;
- Good understanding of quality control standards and inspection techniques;
- Proven experience in the Mechanical Industry or otherwise working experience in a Quality Control department of another technical environment;
- The following mindset qualities apply to you: Result orientated, decisive, communicative, problem solver, pro-active and a keen eye for detail;
- Strong language skills, fluent in English.
