Within Yanmar, the Production team plays an essential role in delivering reliable, high-quality products. Production Workers contribute directly to the assembly of engines and ensure that all activities are performed safely and efficiently, in accordance with established production standards.

What are you going to do?

As our Production Worker, you perform detailed assembly tasks and support the daily production process. You follow clear operational instructions and quality standards to assemble, test, and prepare engines for shipment, while maintaining a safe, organised working environment.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Perform daily assembly activities based on allocated production orders
• Pick required parts, assemble components, test and adjust engines, and prepare products for shipment
• Follow safety, environmental, and quality guidelines at all times
• Report potential risks, deviations, or quality issues to the Production Supervisor
• Use prescribed tools, parts, and equipment according to procedures
• Handle assembly tools and equipment carefully and maintain proper working conditions
• Maintain cleanliness and order in assembly lines and test cells
• Support production activities such as stock counting and cleaning when required
• Perform additional operational tasks within the Production department when necessary

Who are we looking for?

The ideal Production Worker is technically minded, reliable, and comfortable working in a structured production environment. You can follow detailed instructions, work accurately, and contribute to a safe, collaborative workplace.

The ideal candidate:

• MBO education in mechanical engineering or a similar technical field
• Basic to advanced technical knowledge of mechanical engineering, depending on level
• Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment
• Understanding of quality control principles
• Relevant production or assembly experience ranging from entry-level to more than five years, depending on role level
• Ability to read and follow assembly instructions
• Good manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing for longer periods
• Team-oriented and committed to safe working practices

This position is based in Almere, the Netherlands.
