Yanmar Service Awards 2026: celebrating worldwide excellence
The “Service Awards 2026,” hosted by Yanmar Global CS (YGCS), took place on Wednesday, March 5th, at Hankyu International in Japan, recognising a total of 67 award winners, including three representatives from the EMEA region. The event brought together top service talent from across Yanmar’s global network.
Service professionals from around the world gathered to honour excellence, share achievements, and strengthen connections across borders. Approximately 200 participants attended the event, including executives from Yanmar Holdings (YHD), as well as presidents and customer service leaders from domestic group companies and overseas subsidiaries. The ceremony provided a valuable opportunity to recognize dedication, expertise, and global collaboration.
A growing tradition of recognizing excellence
Since its inception in 2018, the Yanmar Service Awards has become a distinguished annual tradition, recognizing outstanding service excellence across all business units. Each year, teams from across the organization nominate individuals who demonstrate exceptional dedication, expertise, and commitment to delivering best-in-class service within their respective fields. The awards not only celebrate individual achievements but also reinforce Yanmar’s core values of collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.

EMEA Service Award Winners 2026
For the European business units, the Service Awards 2026 were presented to the following recipients:
- Jamal Belhaj, Warehouse Supervisor from the Spare Parts department in Yanmar Europe, was awarded. The jury highlighted his impact as follows: “He consistently delivers outstanding customer service while fostering strong collaboration within the warehouse team. He actively engages colleagues to support one another, openly shares best practices, and promotes knowledge exchange.”
- Lukasz Wielesiuk, Service Manager from distributor Techbud (Poland), was awarded for his service in Industrial Power Transmission Solutions. The jury not only recognized his individual contribution but also placed his broader team in the spotlight, stating: “He is part of a team that, with all their knowledge about diesel engines, shows a lot of progress in promoting, servicing and supporting the Yanmar products in their country”.
- Kareem Khairy, Mechanical department manager from distributor Mapso Marine Propulsion and Supply (Egypt), was awarded for his service in CHS (Commercial High Speed Engines). The jury emphasized the value of his expertise, noting: “Mr. Khairy’s knowledge of diesel engines and Spare Parts is crucial to achieve Customer support and Part Sales for Yanmar each Year. Karim always gives detailed repair advise to reach the optimal solution for the Customer. He is often on board to assist the repair.”

For the three award winners from the EMEA region, attending the ceremony in Japan was a truly memorable experience and a significant professional milestone. Being present among peers from across the globe, and receiving recognition on stage, was met with a strong sense of pride and appreciation.
