YASC and Yanmar Co Ltd in collaboration with Azumi, Distributor of YASC in the Philippines, once again participated together in an event to further expand their customer network. The event this round was the 18th National Tuna Congress and Trade Exhibit held from 31st August to 2nd September 2016 at General Santos City, Philippines. Approximately 1000 people had attended the event. Joaquin T. Lu (President, Tuna Cooperative of General Santos) (Chairman, Citra Mina Group of Companies) was present as well.

The main target audiences for this exhibition were shipyard owners, naval architects and fishermen. This was a great opportunity to promote the 6HY series to the fishing sector in General Santos. The 6HYM-WET (500hp) was also highly promoted at the exhibition due to its popularity in the fishing market at that area. Overall, the event received great responses with potential enquiries from customers that Azumi would follow up accordingly.
