Manufacturing strategy analyst (m/f/d)
Localisation site : Remote
Contract : permanent position
Within Global manufacturing organization, the Manufacturing Strategy analyst tasks should be to analyze manufacturing technology and capacity gaps, identify future trends and operation capabilities that matches with the company business objectives. He/She should work in collaboration with production sites in Japan, Europe and NA to define future enhancement plans and vertical integration targets.
Missions
- Analyze current factory capacity and gaps based on data analysis, maintain and update analysis on a yearly basis
- Contribute to define Core manufacturing by analyzing benefits i.e. financials, quality, know how
- Define vertical integration strategy and drive Make or buy analysis based on operational needs and suppliers
- Contribute to define a vison for mid/long term manufacturing strategy (technology, process, means, automations..) and its implementation roadmap
- Propose industrial footprint scheme to meet business needs and manufacturing strategy targets - Analyze industrial investments plans, ensure their consistency across the group and monitor risk management
Profile
Background :
- Master Degree in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering
- Project management training / education
- Fluent English
Skills:
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Manufacturing engineering
- Industrial strategy skills
- Proficiency with analytical tools, workflow time studies, and process balancing
- Experience in Make or buy processus
- Risk analysis methodology
Qualities:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural relations
- Autonomy, performance-oriented
