Global Kaizen Expert (m/f/d)

Within Global manufacturing organization, the Global Kaizen Expert role should be to deploy Kaizen methodology within the Yanmar Construction Equipment BU factories,
The Global Kaizen expert will provide expertise in order to assess manufacturing efficiency, perform process mapping, identify bottlenecks and action plan in order to improve productivity.
In his / her role, the Global Kaizen expert will be the reference contact point for the continuous improvement factory teams, and provide support, training, and develop YWK (Yanmar Way of Kaizen) awareness.
Missions
- To perform factory audit to assess capacity and efficiency in manufacturing
- To Investigate, experiment and implement processes to maximize productivity (Process mapping…)
- To assess capacity and identify manufacturing bottlenecks for each process
- To create and maintain an environment of continuous improvement by actively managing projects to improve overall productivity and efficiency together with factory teams
- To provide tactical coaching and training on Kaizen, Lean methodology and continuous improvement techniques
- Continuously challenges the status quo understood as a day-to-day activity in the local factories
- Actively lead Kaizen events and other lean activities as part of the development of Yanmar Way of Kaizen (YWK) mindset within the factory teams
- Supervise Head quarter audits preparation of each factory
- Follow and track KPI trend
Profile
Background :
- Master Degree in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering
- Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement methodology education
- Fluent English
- French, German or Japanese optional
Skills:
- 5 years background in manufacturing process in industrial environment
- In-depth understanding of lean manufacturing principle / Kaizen
- Experience in manufacturing process mapping, understanding of production methods
- Demonstrate experience in leading manufacturing improvement projects
- Continuous improvement mindset
Qualities:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural relations
- Autonomy, performance-oriented
- Availability to travelling abroad on regular basis
