In April 2025, YANMAR AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY KOREA CO., LTD. (YNK) donated 10 million won in relief funds to the Korean Red Cross.
The large-scale wildfires that occurred in North Gyeongsang Province and South Gyeongsang Province, Korea, in March 2025 were recorded as the largest and most damaging wildfires in history. They burned 104,788 hectares of forest and caused numerous fatalities. The combination of high temperatures, dry weather conditions, and strong winds created adverse conditions that hampered firefighting efforts, allowing the fires to expand into a massive wildfire.
