Ceiling Mounted Duct (Slim Type) Unit

The slim type ceiling mounted duct unit with its low height and compact design can easily be installed behind ceilings where vertical space is limited. Since only the suction and discharge grilles are visible installation of the unit has minimal impact on interior design of the room space. This combined with the extremely low operating sound (29dBA for smaller units), made possible by the special design of fan used in the unit, makes it ideal for sensitive applications like hotel guest rooms. In addition, 3 levels of air flow volume and 2 levels of external static pressure can be set via the remote control unit with the unit producing enough static pressure for connection to smaller scale duct systems. This flexibility makes it possible to use the unit in a wide range of cooling and heating system designs.
A drain pump is provided as standard with 750mm lift.
Models are available in the range 2.2 to 7.1kW (depending on region)
Common applications include office buildings, hotels, hospitals, care homes etc.

Ceiling Mounted Duct (High External Static Pressure) Unit

This model of ceiling mounted duct unit produces higher external static pressure making it possible to connect the unit to more extensive duct systems for the cooling and heating of larger areas. Impact on interior design can minimized with this unit by building the unit and ducting into ceilings etc. so that only air inlet and outlet ducts are visible.
System design and commissioning are made easier with this unit with its easily adjustable external static pressure and also airflow control via remote controller. The unit has an optional built in drain pump to minimize installation space and special coatings to maintain the long term performance of the system.
Models are available with capacities of 22.4 and 28.0kW (depending on region).
Common applications include office buildings, restaurants, retail outlets, event rooms etc.

Wall Mounted Unit

The wall mounted unit with its compact body and clean lines is designed to blend into a wide range of interior decoration schemes. The unit line up also includes smaller capacity models making the wall mounted unit suitable for the cooling and heating of even small rooms. The unit operation is very quiet and the vertical auto-swing flap ensures the room is cooled or heated evenly. In addition, the auto-swing flap can be set to one of five positions and closes automatically when the unit is not in use.
Being wall mounted there is little disturbance to the room interior which also makes this unit very suitable for installation in existing buildings.
The exterior of the unit is easy to clean and the filter can be removed for washing.
A drain can be fitted to either side of the unit and a drain pump is provided as an optional accessory.
Models are available in the range 2.2 to 7.1kW (depending on region)

Branch selector units

(refer to technical documentation for your region for full range of branch selector units and accessories)

Branch selector units connect between EFZP series outdoor units and indoor units. They allow the system to provide simultaneous cooling and heating by controlling the flow of refrigerant between indoor units without passing through the outdoor unit. In this way the branch selector units make it possible to reclaim heat energy from one part of the building and use it in another which increases the efficiency of the whole system.
Models are available that allow connection of several indoor units with combined cooling capacities in three ranges ( up to 11.2kW, between 11.2 kW and 18.0kW, between 18.0kW to 28.0kW)
Applications include buildings where there are temperature differences between different zones due to solar gain or other factors.

Control devices

(refer to technical documentation for your region for full range of control devices and accessories)

VRF GHP air conditioning systems provide flexible heating and cooling solutions for a wide range of applications and an important part of that flexibility comes from system control. Yanmar offers a wide range of controller options to bring comfort and convenience to system users and facility managers.
Options are available to control the system locally, centrally or by interfacing with building control systems.

Local controllers provide control over individual or small groups of indoor units.
Some parameters can be locked to allow a basic degree of system management.
Central controllers provide control over larger numbers of indoor units.
Functions include group operation scheduling as well as functions for managing systems in multi-tenant buildings.
Building control system interfaces provide great flexibility and easy expansion of the number of indoor units.

Anti vibration base

Yanmar GHP units are designed to operate with very low noise and vibration, but for applications where it is necessary an anti-vibration mount is available as an option for each outdoor unit model (depending on region).
The anti-vibration mount decouples the GHP unit and the building structure so sound energy within the GHP body is not transmitted to the building. It is very common to use this kind of anti-vibration mount when installing equipment such as air conditioning units, pumps etc. on building structures.

Air Direction Adjuster

The air direction adjuster is an optional stainless steel hood that attaches to the top of a Yanmar GHP outdoor unit. Its primary function is to change the direction of the air being discharged from the top of the GHP unit but it is also used to protect the unit from snow build up in colder climates.

Where the upward flow of discharged air away from the top of the GHP unit is impeded by a surrounding structure, the direction adjuster can be used to improve the flow of away from the unit. This helps to maintain a fresh flow of ambient temperature air to the rest of the unit and reduces any thermal effect of the discharged air on the surrounding structure.

In colder climates snow and ice can build up on the top the GHP unit and impede the performance of the unit. This can be avoided by fitting the air direction adjuster hood to shield the top of the unit.
