In celebration of Manufacturers’ Appreciation Week, more than 20 members from the Cartersville-Bartow Chamber toured YANMAR America’s headquarters in Adairsville, GA on April 19, 2016.

During the tour, participants were able to see the company’s tractor assembly line in action; view the company’s different product offerings, including tractors, construction equipment, micro Combined Heat and Power systems and commercial marine engines and talk with company representatives.

Jessica Fleetwood of Fleetwood Security and Electronic Services, Inc. commented, “I was very impressed with the size and cleanliness of the facility, and the fact that the final components are manufactured here in Bartow County for such beautiful machines. It was interesting how the final products are shipped all over the country from Adairsville, GA. I am thankful for all YANMAR gives back to the community through employment and community involvement.”

The Cartersville-Bartow Chamber celebrates Manufacturers’ Appreciation Week as part of a state-wide effort to say thank you for the capital investment, community involvement, employment and support that more than 140 manufacturers provide to Bartow County.
