YANMAR America, a leading diesel engine and diesel-powered equipment company, is pleased to announce that Eric Berkhimer has accepted the position of Product Manager for its Construction Equipment division. Berkhimer brings more than 20 years of industry experience in engineering, product management, sales and support to the company.

In his new role, Berkhimer will be the primary leader in the development and marketing of YANMAR’s Construction Equipment product lines, including excavators, skid steers, tracked loaders, tracked carriers and wheel loaders. He will serve as the expert on all of YANMAR’s existing equipment, as well as play a crucial role in the development of new products through cross-functional leadership.

“Eric’s analytical skills and experience will bring valuable leadership to the Construction Equipment team in order to develop the right product offerings strategy for our customers,” said David Morice, Construction Equipment Business Unit Manager for YANMAR America.

Berkhimer’s years of experience including engineering, supervisory and management roles with companies such as Golder Associates, P&H Mining, Terex Mining, John Deere and Hitatchi Construction Machinery, in combination with his contributions to industry publications, make him a valuable addition to the YANMAR America team.
