Yanmar America Holds Employee Tailgate Event

(October 31, 2022) Adairsville, GA – Yanmar America Corporation hosted a Tailgate Party for employees on October 21, at its Adairsville Headquarters. The annual event resumed after cancellations in 2020 and 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The tailgate party was attended by all employees who enjoyed food and entertainment on a warm fall Friday afternoon.
Yanmar America President, Jeff Albright who was celebrating his first tailgate since joining the company in 2020, welcomed employees to the tailgate and praised their achievements, noting that this event was the first post-COVID-19 that employees had been able to attend together.
Entertainment came in many shapes and forms with Yanmar America departments setting up tents and putting on Halloween displays. Staff voted on their favorite tents and imaginative displays were awarded. Fun and games included a pumpkin carrying race, Jenga, Bingo, and other games, while team “Furiosity” won the cornhole tournament in a nail-biting finish. A painted pumpkin competition also showed off the creativity of Yanmar staff and was won by Emily, Kim and Kelly who came through in a tough competition with a tableau inspired by the Tom Hanks movie, Castaway. Yanmar’s budding musicians brought their instruments to entertain and amuse.
Yanmar equipment including an SA 424 TL tractor, Yanmar’s SV100 excavator and a Yanmar Brahma UTV were on display and staff took part in demonstrations throughout the afternoon.
Yanmar America’s 2022 tailgate was a resounding success, bringing employees together for an afternoon of fun and sharing.
