The Regional Circular and Ecological Sphere (Regional-CES) is a concept that aims to improve societies, the environment, and the economy through consuming locally produced resources, as well as sharing those resources across regions. There are five key elements to this concept: energy, disaster prevention, transportation, lifestyle, and business. Yanmar contributes through its work in the energy sector.
The Regional-CES concept promotes self-reliant, decentralized communities by locally producing and consuming regional resources—such as nature, energy, goods, people, and funds—while encouraging interregional cooperation. In short, it aims to revitalize society, the environment, and the economy by utilizing local goods and money locally and sharing resources across regions. By realizing this system, we can link rural and urban areas to environmental improvements and regional revitalization.

Various subsidies are available to assist in establishing Regional-CES, and support is expected to increase.
