Benefits of diesel engine
- It is safe to start the engine in one shot even in winter. Even when using a lot of low speed range for a long time, the engine condition does not change, and it demonstrates tenacity and stable power.
- Light oil, which is cheaper than gasoline, can be used, the fuel consumption rate is low, and the fuel cost is about 1/3 that of gasoline. Light oil is economical because it is tax-free for marine applications. *Application is required for duty-free light oil.
- The compression ratio can be increased, the thermal efficiency is high, and the fuel consumption rate is small. Since the fuel consumption rate at partial load is also good, it is superior to gasoline engines even when idling.
- Demonstrates a smooth power feel and smooth running performance even during long-distance navigation. Compared to a gasoline engine, it enables smooth running with a good feeling of maneuvering.
- No need for an electric ignition system that is sensitive to water and salt, so there are few failures and excellent startability. It boasts high reliability.
- Power can be taken from the engine itself. By setting the generator, you can secure the power supply for lighting equipment.

Uniaxial inboard direct drive system

Soundproof double structure
