YANMAR Sponsors Osasco Volleyball Team

Osasco, Brazil (March 17, 2023) – Yanmar, a global innovator in a wide range of industrial equipment, has announced its first ever sponsorship in the sport of volleyball. The company is joining forces with the Osasco Voleibol Clube, a powerhouse in professional women's volleyball, based in Osasco, São Paulo, Brazil. The 2023 season will see Yanmar's logo featured prominently on the team's uniforms.

One of Brazil’s most popular sporting teams, Osasco Volleyball Club has a long history in the sport, having been founded in 1993 in Guarujá before relocating to Osasco in 1996. Over the years, the club has seen countless players go on to make names for themselves in the Brazilian national team, winning gold medals at World Cups and Olympics.

"It is with great joy that we welcome Yanmar as another member of our family of sponsors," said Luizomar de Moura, coach of Osasco Volleyball. He added that the addition of Yanmar as a sponsor proves the strength of the team's brand.

"We are extremely honored and excited about this partnership," said Igor Souto, Yanmar's marketing coordinator in Brazil. “For Yanmar, the partnership is an opportunity to showcase our brand and to connect with Osasco city, where we have a branch of our company.”

With the new sponsorship, Yanmar is entering the world of volleyball, with Osasco Voleibol Clube being the first team to benefit from their support. With the team's long history of success, and Yanmar's commitment to sport, the partnership is sure to be a winner.

Yanmar's support of volleyball joins the company's existing support of football, marine sports and golf, as part of Yanmar's mission to realize “A Society That Offers an Exciting Life Filled with Rich and Fulfilling Experiences”.
