Yanmar Asia (YASC) CSR Activity - Keep Clean, Singapore 2018

Yanmar Asia (YASC): To mark YASC Foundation Day (CSR Day) on 25 July, 63 YASC members teamed up to clear area A to C of East Coast Park Beach on 25 July 2018. This year is the 6th year, YASC members contribute back to the society on this date.
The beach cleaning event began at 8.00am. Within 2 hours, bags of trash were collected. Cigarette butts, food wrappers, plastic straws, cans and bits and pieces of styrofoam packaging material were some of the marine litters collected.
Taking part in the beach cleaning event is one way to keep a greener environment and preserve marine life. With a simple act today for a better tomorrow. We hope that our act can inspire the public to keep the beach clean as one’s responsibility.
