Yanmar Starts Production of Vertical Water Cooled Diesel Engines in China
Yanmar will start production of vertical water cooled diesel engines in Tsingtao, China, as of November 2013.
Yanmar commenced manufacture and sales of single-cylinder diesel engines in China in 2003. With a massive increase in housing construction and road works in the cities and surrounding suburbs in recent years, compact construction machinery has been in high demand, which has in turn boosted sales of higher output industrial engines.
In addition, increased environmental awareness has led to the enforcement of emission regulations for agricultural machinery and work vehicles at large, and industry manufacturers are showing keen interest in highly efficient, environmentally sustainable engines.
To meet this demand, Yanmar has introduced special lines for the manufacture of high output vertical water-cooled diesel engines at our factory in Tsingtao. These highly reliable engines integrate superior performance and green features, and will be available in the local market as well as other Asian countries, to meet diverse needs and enhance customer satisfaction.
