Introduction air-cooled engines with EPA Tier 4 regulation
Yanmar Europe is pleased to announce the decision to introduce to the market a line-up of L-Series engines compliant with the EPA Tier4 Final regulation.
The L-Series is a landmark in the single cylinder, air cooled diesel engine market, world renowned for its superior quality standards, outstanding performances and high fuel efficiency.
The EPA Tier4 Final compliant line-up consists of L70 and L100 models, whose key features include:
- increased power with respect to the previous EPA models
- variable & fixed speed ratings
- minimal or no physical size increase allowing drop-in replacement of previous L-Series models
- onboard diesel oxidation catalyst
Mass production will start in the 4th quarter of 2014 while sample engines will be available from the 2nd quarter 2014.
