Yanmar 4TN107FTT Industrial Diesel Engine

The Yanmar 4TN107FTT is a 4.6-litre, four-cylinder, water-cooled diesel engine that produces 155 kW at 2,200 rpm and 805 Nm of torque at 1,500 rpm, with 604 Nm available at 1,000 rpm for low-speed pulling power. Two-stage turbocharging with charge-air cooling delivers the platform’s highest power density, making it well-suited to demanding transient loads.

The engine is certified to EU Stage V and EPA Tier 4 Final. Aftertreatment combines a DOC, DPF, and SCR system shared across the 4TN107 range, including the single-turbo 4TN107FHT, ensuring consistent emissions compliance regardless of turbo configuration.

Typical applications include: large excavators, wheel loaders, soil compactors, tractors, motor graders, and heavy tipping tankers. These applications require sustained high-power output within a compact installation footprint. Vallely Tankers selected the 4TN107FTT for its relaunched tipping tanker range, citing the engine’s precise fuel control, strong starting characteristics, and the exact power output required for large pumps and jetters used in sludge handling.
